Johans Prelle & Santiago Luna — Founders
They started as friends before they started as a studio.
Johans grew up in Peru. Santiago in Colombia. Both trained in Europe, both still carrying somewhere they're not.
un:FOUND came from that distance. Not despite it.
Every project starts as a disagreement between the two of them. What survives the argument is the work.
People
Nobody here was looking for us. We weren't looking either.
The two of us. Every artifact and every room starts here, as an argument.
Designers, photographers, musicians. People who arrive from somewhere else and make something with us. A photograph makes a piece as much as a drawing does.
The ones who know how. Workshops, weavers, glassmakers. Their name goes next to ours, never underneath.

How we work
Thought against instinct. Precision against poetry. Neither one wins. The studio doesn't smooth that tension out. It builds with it.
